My Favourite Place to Get Botox in Cape Town

Last Updated on August 27, 2025 by Hannah Stephenson

I make no bones about the fact that I’m a Botox fan. I also firmly believe that you need to get it done by a doctor or nurse who actually knows what they’re doing. Don’t mess around with your face.

At the same time, I don’t like to go to super bougie wellness clinics for my Botox because it costs so much more. Thankfully, I’ve found the perfect injector in Cape Town who knows her stuff and doesn’t charge a fortune.

Introducing… Dr Nadya Abedian!

Who is Dr Nadya?

Dr Nadya is a dentist and aesthetic practitioner. It’s actually pretty common for dentists to offer Botox!

As well as her dentistry qualifications, she also has a diploma in aesthetic medicine and is fully qualified to provide Botox and dermal fillers.

In South Africa, the law says only medically registered doctors and dentists can provide Botox. That’s much better than in my native UK where the industry is not well regulated at all! However, I always suggest checking someone’s qualifications before booking in with them to ensure that they’re legit.

Where is Dr Nadya’s Practice Located?

In Sea Point, behind the Sunset Pharmacy on Kloof Road. Her office is on the 6th floor of the Sea Point Medical Center. There’s a corridor beside the pharmacy, so just head to the back of the building until you see the lift. It’s pretty easy to find!

How Much Does It Cost to Get Botox with Dr Nadya?

Dr Nadya charges R90 per unit for Botox. In South Africa, it’s usually charged per unit instead of per area.

I paid R2,000 for Botox in my frown lines and forehead. This is the best price I’ve found on the Atlantic Seaboard.

I paid R100 per unit at Natural Aesthetics in Green Point! And I’m not sure what the price per unit is, but my friend pays about R4,000 a pop for Botox for her forehead and crows feet at Skin Renewal in the Cape Quarter.

I think you probably could find the same or cheaper prices in the suburbs, but since I don’t own a car I’d end up paying more for the Uber to and from the clinic. I can just walk to Dr Nadya’s in Sea Point!

My Experience with Dr Nadya

What was great about Dr Nadya is that she didn’t try to give me the maximum amount possible. She explained that because I’m relatively young, she didn’t want to completely freeze my forehead and gave me the minimum amount.

Of course, I had the option to ask for more if I wanted but I trusted her opinion and I’m glad I did. I definitely looked fresher and my frown line disappeared for a fair few months. All in all, I think the effects lasted for about 5 months.

I also talked to Dr Nadya about getting filler in my nasolabial lines and she actually advised me against it. She’s super honest and won’t try to convince you to get something you don’t need for the sake of a cash grab.

How to Book an Appointment with Dr Nadya

I booked my appointment via email. You can reach Dr Nadya’s office at info@drnadyaabedian.co.za. They were very quick to get back to me! You can see her full contact page here.

No, I’m not affiliated with Dr Nadya in any way and I haven’t ever discussed creating any content with her. I’m just a happy customer!
